There has been a village school since 1726, and the present building was renovated and enlarged in 1988.
Situated next to St. Mary's Church, it is a Church of England Primary School.
There are 124 children, aged 4 - 9 years on its roll. The school feeds in to Lothingland Middle School at Lound (2 miles away), and Benjamin Britten High School in North Lowestoft (3 miles away).
