| The anual TEDDY BEAR PARACHUTING from the top of Blundeston Church tower will take place again on Sat/Sun 7th/8th June 2008. This will be combined with the annual Flower festival in the Church.
The annual Party in the Park including childrens sports, football match and tug of war contest on Blundeston Millenium Green will also be held again on Saturday 14th June 2008. Unfortunately the evening dance and disco in the marquee on the Green has again been canceled this year. This is the direct result because of the bad behaviour of a few individual youths at the event in 2006, which resulted in Police action.
The TAVERHAM BAND will be again 'In Concert' in Blundeston Church on Sunday 15th June 2pm to 4pm. Tickets, including refreshments £5.
Saturday 8 September 2008 is the Suffolk Historic Churches Sponsored Cycle ride. Sponsors are neded for the cyclists and also volunteers to man the Church for parts of the day.
There will be an Art and Craft Exhibition and Sale at Blundeston Church, in October 2008. Light lunches, Cream Teas, refreshments available. Pictures by local artists, cake stall, various craft stalls etc.
The annual village quiz will be in September in the Village Hall. All village organisations are encouraged to take part in this fun evening. |
